Welcome to Fambee. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Fambee mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). Please read them carefully before using our platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using Fambee, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Fambee offers a collaborative family organization ecosystem, including but not limited to shared calendars, shopping lists, meal planners, daily routine checklists, ambient smart displays, and private photo journals. We continuously improve our Service and may add, modify, or remove features at any time.
3. Eligibility, Accounts, and Family Groups
Age & Eligibility: To create a household account or register as a family organizer, you must be at least 16 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction). Individuals under 16 may only access the Service if invited by a parent, legal guardian, or authorized family administrator, and must use the Service under parental supervision.
Registration: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
Inviting Members & Parental Consent: When you invite family members (including minors or children) to join your household or extended circles, you represent and warrant that you are their parent or legal guardian, or have obtained verifiable parental consent to manage their profile and participation.
Closed Family Architecture: Fambee is designed exclusively as a closed, private household organizer and family memory journal. It does not feature public follower models, public algorithmic feeds, or stranger discovery. All family memories, lists, routines, and schedules remain strictly restricted to members explicitly invited by the household administrator.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Premium Subscription: Certain features of Fambee (such as extended circles or custom branding templates) may require a paid premium subscription.
Billing: Subscriptions are processed securely through Google Play Billing and RevenueCat. All fees are non-refundable, except as required by law.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time directly through your Google Play Store settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your billing cycle.
5. User Content and Ownership
You retain full ownership of all data, lists, text, images, and other materials you upload or enter into the Service ("User Content"). We do not claim any ownership over your User Content. By posting User Content to private family spaces, you grant Fambee only the narrow license to host and display it within the app for you and your family members.
6. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use the Service to:
Upload illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or obscene content.
Violate any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.
Engage in reverse engineering, copying, or distributing parts of our source code or platform design.
Attempt to breach security measures, disrupt servers, or abuse database API limitations.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Fambee shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service, including data loss, service interruptions, or security leaks.
